Q: Where is the Jelfin mouse driver?

All Jelfin mouse products use standard USB technology and therefore do not required any additional driver. They are called “Plug-and-Play” devices.

Q: What’s the signature of 1000 DPI?

1000 DPI gives the user the following advantages:

  • Pen-and-Paper like sensitivity.
  • Less muscle work to move the mouse around, especially when working with a large screen.
  • Much faster pointer movement that can increase your productivity.
  • A much smaller work space requirement.
Q: Why is Jelfin™ mouse so sensitive?

With 1000 DPI, a small movement of the mouse will produce a large mouse pointer shift in the screen. However, the sensitivity of the movement of mouse pointer is also controlled by setting of the mouse. By changing the mouse speed setting to a slower setting, the sensitivity of the mouse is reduced. In general, a new user should start with a slow setting and adjust the setting later according to the application and experience level.

Q: How do I change the mouse speed setting on my MAC?

Go to the control panel and click on the mouse icon to bring up the mouse setting pane from where the speed can be adjusted.

Q: How do I change the mouse speed setting on my PC?

Go to the control panel and click on the mouse properties icon. The speed can be adjusted under the pointer options tab.

Q: My brand new Jelfin G800i does not work. What can I do?

There are several possible causes of this problem:

  • The USB cable is not plugged in properly. If this is done right, the red LED on the bottom of your Jelfin G800i should light up. If this works but does not solve the problem, go to Step 2.
  • If the G800i was installed on a computer the first time, the system will need to register it. This is all done automatically. You can check the registration by going to the driver manager pane (under Control Panel/System Properties) and look for the USB mouse item under the “mice and pointing device” group.
